The Best Way

There is a Japanese saying
there are many ways to the top of Mount Fuji
where are we going
what do we want

If you need more clarity
on the way forward
come forward
engage with this parsha

The longer less direct route
is sometimes best
or shorter through conflict and war
courage and patience sometimes paired
resist temptation to give up
turn forward in strength

You are the inheritor of power
in the face of fear
the long way can develop character
embrace freedom
earn and appreciate

“There is a long way which is short and a short way which is long.” (BT Er. 53b.)
