A Community Consciousness and Brain Health Essay.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) uses tapping and mindfulness exercises to elicit improvements in mind and body health. Some of the tapping points overlap with Acupuncture points. Here are some of the correlations with EFT point and areas of the body and colors associated with Acupressure or Traditional Chinese Medicine reflex points along the meridians.

Five Element Wood Elements

Gallbladder meridian: Green Wood; 11pm — 1am; From rage and wrath to compassion, growth and vitality; Dopamine. Also associated with Spring, sour, eyes, tendons, wind, homeopathic deposition phase.

Liver meridian: Green Wood; 1am — 3am; From anger and unhappiness to compassion, growth and vitality; Norepinephrine and Melatonin. Also associated with Spring, sour, eyes, tendons, wind, homeopathic deposition phase.

Five Element Metal Elements

Lung meridian: White Metal; 3am-5am; from grief and intolerance to justice and clarity and precision; Histamine. Also associated with Autumn, pungent, nose sense, skin, hair, dry and homeopathic impregnation phase.

Large Intestine meridian: White Metal; 5am — 7am; From guilt and grief to justice, clarity and precision; Serotonin. Also associated with Autumn, pungent, nose sense, skin, hair, dry and homeopathic impregnation phase.

Five Element Earth Elements

Stomach (Basal Ganglia) meridian: Yellow Earth; 7am — 9am; From disgust and greed to faith, nourishment and stability; Acetylcholine. Also associated with Late Season, sweet, mouth sense, muscles, damp, homeopathic inflammation / reaction phase.

Spleen (Pancreas) meridian: Yellow Earth; 9am — 11am; From worry, disappointment and anxiety about the future to faith, nourishment and stability; Insulin and GABA. Also associated with Late Season, sweet, mouth sense, muscles, damp, homeopathic inflammation / reaction phase.

Heart meridian: Red Fire; 11am — 1pm; From mania and anger to joy, propriety, courtesy, joy, passion and high energy; Aspartate and Taurine. Also associated with Summer, bitter, tongue sensation, blood vessels, heat and homeopathic degeneration phase.

Small Intestine meridian: Red Fire; 1pm — 3pm; From insecurity and sadness to joy, propriety, courtesy, passion and high energy; Glycine. Also associated with Summer, bitter, tongue sensation, blood vessels, heat and homeopathic degeneration phase.

Bladder (Adrenals) meridian: Blue Water; 3pm — 5pm; From fright, impatient, restless to wisdom, ease and abundance; Cortisol and Epinephrine.. Also associated with Winter, salty, ears sense, bones, cold and homeopathic excretion phase.

Kidney meridian: Blue Water 5pm — 7pm; From fear and indecision to wisdom; Testosterone. Also associated with Winter, salty, ears sense, bones, cold and homeopathic excretion phase.

Pericardium / heart protector / circulation sex meridian: Red Fire; 7pm — 9pm; From hurt, extreme joy, jealousy, regret to joy, propriety, courtesy, passion and high energy; Also associated with Summer, bitter, tongue sensation, blood vessels, heat and homeopathic degeneration phase.

Triple Heater / Triple Warmer (Thyroid) meridian: Red Fire; 9pm — 11pm; From hopelessness, depression, despair to joy, propriety, courtesy, passion and high energy; Glutamate .Also associated with Summer, bitter, tongue sensation, blood vessels, heat and homeopathic degeneration phase.

Conception Vessel (Uterus / Prostate): midline front of the body; Estrogen, Progesterone, Testosterone.

Governing Vessel: (Thalamus / Hypothalamus / Basal Ganglia): midline top of the head and back of the body; Opiod peptides, Peptides.
