we share our life

in our garden and the natural world around us
we share our creativity with birds and bees
Happy when we all feel safe at home
in the warmth of diverse communities
we share in the brilliance of every religion, race, and culture
Happy when we all feel safe at home
as the world shares in the rest
from the frenzied pace of human commerce
Happy when we all see our place at home
with family, living creatures and community
we share in all the abundance and joy of this world
Happy when we all see that there is enough
chocolate, love, land, food
when we share

One Enveloping Consciousness
One heart surrounded by love and intelligence
a poet’s consciously pounding heart
radiating insights
drawing the world inward
One unique individual surrounded by community
meeting at the edges
like-minded people and strangers
growing the world outward
One world surrounded by oxygen
fueling deep words powerful breath and heartfelt actions
transforming and balancing one heart
and that makes all the difference
