The Art of Colorful Life Ekphrastic Poetry, Writing and Fiction Inspired by Art.

The Art of Colorful Life

Life colorful like bolts of cloth

in a Korean silk market

or cotton neatly folded

in the neighborhood Jo-Ann’s

wait for a pattern

follow examples there to see

Blend one color into

grow up in the mix

art at the beginning

an artist doesn’t have all

the answers doesn’t know where

it will go

just something amazing is waiting

for a brush, paints and

time to design and

create a plan

then time to celebrate

where it took her

despite all the plans.
