God’s Finger

A plague and a blessing
the Finger of God appears
twice in the Torah
once to create lice
and the other to inscribe
the stone tablets
with the 10 commandments

We see only actions
feeling our own intentions and actions
attributing plagues and blessings
from what we see
unfelt becomes unknown

and the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God!” But Pharaoh’s heart stiffened and he would not heed them, as the LORD had spoken.

When He finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses the two tablets of the Pact, stone tablets inscribed with the finger of God.

Let Go

In this parsha the word untouchable
appears twice
in Exodus 8:22
3x Heavy
1x stink
5x thunder
sensations creating images
untouchable a reason to let go

Heavy Stink Haiku

Sensations touched felt
untouchable a reason
to let go thunder
